音乐周介绍
在长达数千年的中华历史文明中，传世久远的中国古琴不仅是文人抒情写意、修身养性的一门艺术，而且还以其典雅、幽深、高洁、清和的风韵成为中国文化人精神情操的象征，并历来为国人所珍视。
作为中国传统音乐当中重要的代表性乐种，古琴在2003年成功入选联合国人类口头和非物质文化遗产代表作。在世界及我国政府都密切关注人类口头和非物质文化遗产的今天，如何来更好的保护和发扬古琴音乐已经成为一个急需探索的问题。今年恰逢古琴被列为联合国人类口头和非物质文化遗产代表作三周年，以及古琴大师吴景略诞辰一百周年之际，中央音乐学院、中国音乐学院和中国艺术研究院音乐研究所三家单位将于2006年10月联合举办“2006北京·国际古琴音乐文化周——暨纪念古琴大师吴景略诞辰一百周年”的活动。
本次古琴音乐文化周是一次涉及了古琴在学术、创作和演奏诸多领域的国际综合性文化活动，其内容主要包括琴人雅集和对虞山派开派宗师吴景略的纪念活动，并且安排了研讨会、学术讲座、音乐会、互动工作坊、多媒体视听会、展览等丰富多彩、新颖别致的活动形式。可以说，本次古琴音乐文化周的活动是精心策划、极具规模，届时国内及海外的琴家、古琴爱好者、专家学者将云集至北京共享盛事。
活动的主办单位希望通过古琴音乐文化周的活动进一步保护、继承和发展古琴艺术，促进和加强海内外的古琴交流，并且推动古琴事业在新世纪里走向兴旺和繁荣。这是长期以来老一辈古琴工作者为之奋斗一生的理想，也是当代琴人和音乐学者们的共同心愿。
CONTENTS
The Qin, a seven stringed zither, has long tradition in Chinese history. It is not only an expressive and cultivatable art, but also a spiritual and cultural symbol of ancient literati. Thus, it is loved by the people.
As an important genre of traditional Chinese music, the UNESCO proclaimed the Qin the “Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.” Today, under the concern of the world and the Chinese government, how to protect and promote Qin music culture has become an important issue for exploring and discussing. For celebrating the UNESCO’s proclamation in its third year and the centennial birthday of Qin master Wu Jinglue, the 2006 Beijing International Qin music Week --with a special memory to Qin master Wu Jinglue will be hold in the October, by Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music and The Academy of Chinese Arts jointly.
This event relates many areas of the Qin music and its culture such as academic research, music creation and performance. The contents include: the gathering of Qin musicians, the memory activities of the Qin master Wu Jinglue of the Yushan school embracing: symposium, lectures, concerts, workshops, multi-media watching and listening and exhibitions, etc. It can be said that it is well planed, and it also is expected that many Qin musicians and fans, scholars and specialists will be gathered in Bejing to share their experiences and talents, to exchange their views and points of Qin music and its culture.
We deeply hope, as the hosts of the 2006 Beijing International Qin music Week, that through this event: the Qin music and its culture will further be protected, inherited and initiated; the exchange of Qin music and Qin musicians will further be promoted. These are the ideals and endeavors of our predecessors, and the hearty wishes of contemporary Qin musicians and musicologists as well.
