2006 is the 3rd year since the UNESCO proclaimed “The Art of Qin Music” to be one of “Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”, it also is “ The Centennial Birthday of Qin Master Wu Jinglue”, for the further inheritance and promotion of the Qin music culture，The Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music and Chinese Academy of Arts have decided to held the “2006 Beijing?The Week of Qin Music Culture——With The Memory of Qin Master Wu Jinglue’s Centennial Birthday” on October 16th to 19th. This event will include a symposium, concerts, Qin musician’s gathering performances, workshops, multimedia seeing and hearing lecture, exhibitions etc.
